Farina, thanks. Red velvet cake just red colored cake with a hint of chocolate. I believe if you make this red velvet cake from scratch, you just need 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and some red coloring.

Sri, thanks. Maybe next time I will try Paula's recipe. I was thinking of making this cake from scratch but then I said, I better not screw up the cake since it is my first time baking red velvet cake. The strawberry preserve mix with the cream cheese icing for the center was really good. The taste blended well with the red velvet cake.
